Ambushed by hoodies in the wake of UK riots

I was accosted by two young people in a quiet street late this evening. They asked me for money. One had a hood on. It was quite an experience. We spent about a quarter of an hour together. I told them a story and I ask them to tell me their story in return. Some of the elements of of theirs was similar to mine. It was incredible. The hooded one said to me at one point "We are not stupid". I asked them what they thought about what was going on. One said it isn't a good thing. The hooded one said it had to happen because the govt has neglected young people. I'll spare further details.... They insisted that i gave them one pound for two cans of soft drinks. They extended their hands for a handshake at the end of the dialogue and left. What an encounter!
